Team Error

The data model for the account’s receivable domain focuses on the Account and Balance data objects which are shown in blue. Different data objects affect the accounts balance by either having a positive effect, by paying off the balance or a negative effect of adding a billable fee to the balance.

 

All data objects that have a negative effect on the balance are color coded red. Requests for Billings, which come in from departments across the university, and Meal Plan Balance changes can become Billable Items. Once a billable item has been generated, the effective fee will be applied to the Account’s Balance.

 

Green objects represent any object that can positively affect the balance. Accounts have Authorized Payers, optional Payment Plans, the Payments themselves, as well as Financial Aid Benefits.
